Second Language not working properly

The option to translate the second language does not work as conveniently as it does with the first language.
That is, in the first language I have English selected and when I select text in any other language, a button for translation appears under it.
But when I select the English text, this does not happen. Translates only after clicking on the extension icon in the top bar of the browser, and not under the text, as happens for the first language.
I would like to be able to translate into a second language as conveniently as the first.
