We have had discussions on updating and upgrading the current SODA Dashboard. There have been proposals and some timelines discussed. Those involved retaining the current code base and updating the libraries and some code optimizations.

Here we discuss the complete rebuild of SODA Dashboard from scratch.

The SODA Dashboard was started as a way to use and demonstrate the SODA APIs for on-premise and multicloud storage data management.

It is a straightforward Angular5.x based webapp that directly connects to the endpoints provided by SODA.

Why the redesign and overhaul is needed and some of the recommendations were discussed in this document.
