The height of the thumbnail slider area (tall rectangular area where thumbnails reside) on the secondary monitor does not match the height of the thumbnail slider area on the primary monitor. The height on the secondary monitor appears to be a little longer than the height of the slider on the primary monitor. This is not an issue until the number of active workspaces reaches 8 -- Gnome Shell opens the 9th pair of workspaces for the primary and secondary monitors, and suddenly, the corresponding workspaces on the primary and secondary monitors become misaligned. This is more a visual defect. The corresponding workspaces on each monitor should remain aligned always. I suppose that if the heights of the thumbnail slider areas on all monitors remain the same, then the alignment of each pair of corresponding side-by-side workspaces will always be correct. This visual defect is noticeable when two thumbnail sliders are next two each other -- for example, on the right side of the left monitor and on the left side of the right (secondary) monitor.
