What is a Pinelab?

Pinelab is the company I founded to develop e-commerce software that help businesses create their own online platforms. I mostly do this with my favorite e-commerce framework, Vendure.io. I believe creating and consuming open source software can make the world a better place for everyone. Just look at the popularity of Vendure!

Why open source?

By publishing my Vendure plugins as open source, they can also be used by those with less resources, all you need to do is invest some time in reading the docs!

Publishing my code as open source also helps me think about usages of the plugins outside my own project, which improves the quality. Plus, I get free contributions and free testing by other developers using my plugins!

Why sponsoring?

Funds will be used to maintain current software, publish new software and grow the community around our Vendure plugins, so we get more contributions, which in turn should result in even better plugins!
