Become a sponsor to Transcrypt - Python in the Browser
The Python-to-JavaScript transpiler known as Transcrypt was first released for production use in 2016 by its creator, Jacques de Hooge. Transcrypt was created to allow Python developers to create front-end web applications and give them seamless access to existing JavaScript libraries from Python source code.
The Transcrypt transpiler project has a core philosophy of making practical trade-offs between speed and compactness on one hand, and completeness and conformity to the behavior of CPython on the other. Unlike many other existing projects that strive to offer ways to use Python on the web, Transcrypt tries to be as non-opinionated as possible when it comes to utilizing it for projects.
GitHub Sponsor funds will be used to help support the ongoing development of the Transcrypt Python-to-JavaScript transpiler open source project.
