I develop open-source software for
- Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) using zedhat (a C-based library) and EIDORS (a Matlab toolbox), and
- to solve all the little problems I run into as I maintain linux-based systems.
If either of these save you heart-ache and a little time, or provide insight into your own problems, I'd love to hear from you. It's great to understand when, why and how I've been able to help. Second, if you put sponsorship money in here, it provides a clear incentive for me to build more like what you've found useful. If there is something I can do to make my software more useful to you (new features, etc), here's a mechanism to pay for that work. I love making things that actually get used!
I'm based in Canada. If you want to see a bit of my academic past you can look to my website at aboyle.ca. If you'd like to see where I've worked and whether my experience might help solve your problems, look to LinkedIn. (I'm probably available for contract work, or maybe you've found a role for me at your company.) And if you want to know about the high-performance sailboat I built from a stack of wood, or my sailing adventures, then you'll be slightly disappointed because I haven't revived my blog in a while. Perhaps I'll get to that back up and running sometime soon, and you'll find it on my website.
