Become a sponsor to Dimagi
Update (March 25, 2020): Our team's efforts are now primarily engaged in supporting rapid COVID-19 response supporting government health agencies (including US CDC, Ogun Dept. of Health in Nigeria, and Sierra Leone) in managing COVID-19. We are seeking additional sponsors to help ramp up capacity to provide comprehensive services as early as possible in the pandemic.
Dimagi builds tools that bridge the complex demands of software that can reach the last mile of human development with the limited resources of social impact organizations who are providing critical healthcare and human services to those communities.
Our core software, CommCare, is an end-user programming environment and mobile application backend. With CommCare, social impact organizations can quickly and inexpensively build their own custom mobile applications to deliver services in the most underserved parts of the world. CommCare apps reach more than 500 million people who fall outside the reach of commercial technology with tools to fight Ebola, Malaria, malnutrition, gender based violence, and other pressing areas of social impact. Organizations like the United Nations and the Red Cross use CommCare mobile applications to provide services in refugee camps, or to deploy apps for rapid response to outbreaks.
CommCare is used by our global community as fully Free and Open Source software, as well as a hosted SaaS offering.
