I'm the creator and maintainer of the open-source JavaScript chart framework Chartist. As you all know, open-source is free for everyone. However, our efforts going into open-source projects is highly depending on how much time is left after all other responsibilities in our professional and private life. Open-source is great but it does not pay our bills. If you sponsor me with my project, I will eventually be able to bring Chartist to the next level and invest a substantial amount of my time into the library to implement long missing features and update underlying technologies.
