I am Maiyun, a current student at UC San Diego pursuing my Bachelor's in Engineering Physics. In my free time, I work on open-source projects as well as attempt to contribute to bigger projects.
I am passionate about being a part of the open-source community and encouraging more people to join us. I believe consumers and users should be able to examine and improve the technology that powers their daily lives.

My main project right now is the Rusty Penguin, which allows tunnelling TCP/UDP via HTTP. I have also contributed to Homebrew, Python, and Facebook in the past and I am planning to do more as my ability improves.

Sponsoring my work will allow me to worry less about funding my education here in the U.S., dedicate more time and resources to maintaining and improving my projects, as well as exploring new ideas and innovations in networking, radio frequencies, and other fields.
