Hello, my name is Rafael and I am a software consultant and open source developer, mainly active in the Java ecosystem. I create a library called Byte Buddy but I am involved in a row of projects to share my knowledge on byte code manipulation and JVM internals that I have built over the years. I live and work in Oslo, Norway.
I intend GitHub sponsors only as an opportunity for companies that want to support my work without a procurement process. I appreciate it, but please understand that a donation implies that I cannot offer you any service in return. Generally, I prefer one-time payments over monthly donations as this reduces my documentation overhead, but I am of course happy to receive either!
If you are an individual, I appreciate your intent to support me, but I'd rather see your money used on a charitable cause. Please enjoy my software and I am happy to welcome you back, if you have built a profitable company using it. Until then, please keep your money!
If you are a company looking for support for my software, this is not the right place! Quite the opposite, as I cannot legally offer anything in return without proper VAT processing and invoicing. Please reach out to me instead.
Thank you for your support!
