I'm Sebastian Schubotz, a software engineer from Leipzig, Germany, who firmly believes that building open source software leads to a better world. With many repositories on GitHub, I've been involved in a variety of projects, ranging from home automation to real estate scraping tools and public health utilities.

My work includes projects like to build your own Kindle 4 photo frame displaying your Home Assistant Lovelace panel, and a web application that scrapes several German real estate listing websites and visualizes offers in a map. During Covid-19 I've also developed a tool that checks the vaccination portal of Saxony for available appointments for specified vaccination centres.
