I have been developing software for almost twenty years, ever since I picked up a calculator with TI-BASIC back in Texas. I studied Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University, and I studied Computer Science at University of Washington while working at Microsoft and Institute for Disease Modeling. Since then, I have managed deployment orchestration software as a Director of Software Engineering. My wife and I owned a sorority recruitment software company for 8 years, and we made a successful exit in early 2018.
I live in Snoqualmie with my wife, Chelsey, my kids, Kate and Jack, my husky, Annie, and my cats, Callie and Brownie. You may hear me say that this bunch is my "P0".
I swim, play saxophone, read fantasy, and contribute to OSS on my (small amount of) free time. I play in a few local contemporary jazz bands, and you are more than welcome to come check us out some time. In addition, I enjoy the occasional hiking or snowboarding trip.
I mostly build open source projects in C#, Rust, and JavaScript. As soon as I can get a project to gain some traction, I continue to maintain the project for fun. I try to respond quickly to bug reports and feedback. :)
