Become a sponsor to David Whiting
I'm Vitling (real name David Whiting) and I'm an artist/musician/programmer based in Berlin, Germany. I make algorithmic art, audio plugins and other interesting curiosities, as well as solving general-case problems and writing libraries where I can.
I'm a polyglot programmer working across web/data/DSP using languages like C++, Scala, Javascript and Typescript amongst many others. Whatever is the best tool for the job at hand.
My current interest areas are the artistic potential of newer web technologies like WebAudio, WebMIDI, WebGL and Canvas; creating experimental VST plugins for people to use in their music creation process; interactive installations based on free software; and using data for good instead of creepy purposes.
I'm looking for sponsors because I'd like to be able to continue the work I do while keeping it free and open-source and without having to market and sell myself and/or what I create.

SelectSay thank you!
The code I write is useful for musicians, artists and programmers alike, and I love to keep things free at the point of access and open for other people to adapt and learn from. Many small contributions can add up to stop me from needing to go back to selling myself to big companies to make proprietary software again.

SelectPay my Apple Developer Programme subscription.
I'm a member of the Apple Developer Programme primarily just to be able to create and distribute binaries of free and open-source software I make, so that it can be used by non-technical folks too. Until the world starts standing up to Apple's shameful extortion of the open-source community that their entire OS is built on, I'm accepting donations to cover my out-of-pocket expenses.
