Hi, I'm Jason and I'm working on OpenPnP!

OpenPnP is an Open Source SMT pick and place system that includes ready to run software, and hardware designs that you can build and modify. You can also use OpenPnP software to run a pick and place machine of your own design, or with existing commercial machines, giving them abilities they never had with their OEM software.

I've been working on OpenPnP for about 10 years, and in that time it has grown from a far fetched idea to a production ready platform for building electronics. It is used both privately and commercially around the world to help people make things every day!

I believe that making Open Source versions of traditionally industry only software and hardware ensures that the secrets of making things lives on!

Your sponsorship will help me dedicate more time and resources to OpenPnP. I'll be able to add support for and test additional hardware, fix more issues, add more features, and improve multi-platform support.
