[Bug]: Storybook not working with the latest Vite 4.3.9v

Describe the bug

Since upgrading my version of Vite from 4.0.x to 4.3.9, I haven't been able to get storybook to work. It can build, but it is either is stuck in the loading state, or flashes like this:

I'm also getting errors similar to the ones in this thread

Also, have you tried removing your lockfile and reinstalling?
