How to Install Browser extension for Google Chrome / MS Edge / Brave / Vivaldi

Open Browser Monitoring dialog in XDM

Click on the respective button to install the extension. This is VERY IMPORTANT! This will register the Messaging Host for respective browser.

Open Google Chrome / MS Edge / Brave / Vivaldi

Navigate Chrome extension page by typing chrome://extensions/ in browser's address bar

OR

Chrome Menu -> More tools -> Extensions

Enable Developer mode in Chrome as shown below

Click on Load unpacked button

Chrome will show a folder selection dialog. Browse to XDM's installation folder. If you are on Windows, XDM is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\XDM for 64 bit Windows and in C:\Program Files\XDM for 32 bit Windows. Select the chrome-extension folder which should be inside the XDM installation directory.

On Linux it should be under /opt/xdman. Select the chrome-extension folder which should be inside the XDM installation directory.

Select the chrome-extension folder

The extension should be installed now
