3 posts and yet no Clear Answer lets solve that....Sharing Posts to Stories

for the last two years people have asked but gotten not so clear answers

we all know that posts on a page can be shared to the story via clicking an arrow button under the post.
That shared post will then play within the story but when clicked on will directly link to the post that was shared.

Can this be done with our current codebase?

or....are we limited to simply sharing the content of the post but not having the native functionality gained from sharing the actual post itself?
