My program was working yesterday, but running it again today I'm getting an error (check the traceback).

Weird thing is, I'm getting a "login_required" error – but it's successfully logging in? I'm getting the error around the lines marked with a *

For now, I added a try-catch statement around the "#Go to profile" line, looking for LoginRequired. I'm not sure if this is a permanent solution however.

I suggest you to check that the login was successful by moving your try/except like this

bot.load_settings(file)
bot.login(username, password)

try:
    bot_account = bot.account_info()
except LoginRequired:
    bot.relogin() # Use clean session

# Don't forget to dump settings!
bot.dump_settings(file)

# And then you can put your code

And did you get the error again
What I have found is that the error is based on the amount of calls you do for example my code checks for new messages it's in a while loop what I found was every 20-15secs that error comes even if i sleep my code or request timeout (they are use 10secs delay) but if you call once the error will never come up (note i tried it for 1 minute before i canceled it)

@OP-EX what would the solution be if you are mass scraping, im trying to scrape around 50,000 profiles on a dailby basis

You need to add random times they will need to be big times.
