Creating proper user accounts would turn this into a pretty useful "Words with Friends" style app.

I think the current session-based playing option should be kept and labeled as "Quick Play" for users who don't want to have to create an account.

This is obviously a non-trivial task and would have to be done after a persistent data store is in place. see issue #8
