what is the state of the project? the hackage link is broken and cabal is not aware of it.

This package should be considered defunct. At one point I was thinking of splitting functionality into multiple packages, but I decided that would be a bad idea at first. The reason there's a hackage link is just from the boilerplate README I copy/pasted.

If you want to really use curve25519, I suggest you use my nacl package. It is also not yet released, but it is much more featureful and complete, and I plan on making an initial release soon. (Any help would be appreciated, of course!)
