Token approve in your browser extension doesn't work

Describe the bug
Hello. I can't call the token validate function in your extension. I get the error "An error has occurred. Click the button below to refresh the session." The update does not change anything.

Thought it was a bug in my project, but no. When working with https://metamask.github.io/test-dapp/ there is a similar issue.

To Reproduce

1. Run https://metamask.github.io/test-dapp/
2. Click button "Create token"
3. Approve transaction
4. Click button "Approve tokens"

Expected behavior
A modal transaction window will appear with the token approved
