Installing uBlue on WSL-2

I'm interested in installing & testing uBlue on WSL-2 has anyone done this? I would appreciate any pointers.

Hello! I don't have any windows machines so I can't test it out, but most likely grabbing a .tar file from one of the ucore containers should suffice Microsoft has an article on MS Learn suggesting doing that when sideloading custom Linux distributions to WSL2.

Just make sure to provide an ignition file if you are actually going to use Ucore for that tho

Basically the process would be:

• Running linux in WSL or a separate instance
• Running docker export on ghcr.io/ublue-os/ucore:stable
• Grabbing the tar file and running wsl --import ucore (tarfile) on it

That should get you started, although I really don't know anything more because I can't test it
