Cannot decompress JPEG2000Aware3.18.7.3Win32_kdutranscode6.3.1.j2k

I cannot decompress the following file:

http://jpeg.sourceforge.net/jpeg2000/JPEG2000Aware3.18.7.3Win32_kdutranscode6.3.1.j2k

It has been generated using:

kdu_transcode -i JPEG2000Aware3.18.7.3Win32.j2k -o JPEG2000Aware3.18.7.3Win32_kdutranscode6.3.1.j2k

with :

$ kdu_transcode -v
This is Kakadu's "kdu_transcode" application.
    Compiled against the Kakadu core system, version v6.3.1
    Current core system version is v6.3.1

Sorry I meant to say that the decompressed buffer is different from the output of kakadu:

$ kdu_expand -i /tmp/JPEG2000Aware3.18.7.3Win32_kdutranscode6.3.1.j2k -o bb.raw -record
b.txt
$ j2k_to_image -i /tmp/JPEG2000Aware3.18.7.3Win32_kdutranscode6.3.1.j2k -o b.raw
$ md5sum b.raw bb.raw
28b8a0736e6ad83b68f8619d7513321c  b.raw
974f326fdf2233bdc26e938c5410ab9a  bb.raw
