Line items for more injured passenger information #208
Comments
Parsing this request is difficult but as I understand it, the main request is to add a (checkbox? radio button?) to indicate which kind of passenger was injured (on the vehicle / in another vehicle). |
We can certainly collect additional info in the DB - not sure I'm clear on where it should go in the PDF. I would recommend a one-on-one session with [it doesn't say here who the request came from?] and a developer to arrive at a more precise statement of the requirement(s). |
The person who made the request wants two fields under motor vehicle collision that indicate how many passengers were injured both in the bus and in the other vehicle. They said that the location where injured passenger info is filled can remain where it is. I guess the simplest solution would be to add these fields as columns in incident report. I could instead add a column to injured passengers to indicate which vehicle the passenger was injured in. My issue with the second option is that injured passenger info would be filled out after the motor vehicle collision which doesn't make sense. In this case I could have the passenger involved checkbox before the collision checkbox. I definitely need another opinion. |
I think it's worth considering whether people might be "injured" but not provide contact information? |
Thats a good point. I feel like option 1 makes the most sense then. |
