  • At Deploy time, scaling option thresholds are set
  • At deploy time, Nominal default configuration is set
  • At deploy time, scaling triggers are defined (CPU, Memory, Job Queue?)

Drew implemented the first 2 items: when U-SPS is deployed, a default number of nodes is selected, and a limit for the max number of nodes in the cluster. The trigger for automatic scaling still needs to be implemented.
