Recently, G Chats has made a slight change. Now, selected conversations are showing up as the default un-themed color rgb(230, 244, 234), which is offensive to the eyes, does not allow you to read the contact or last message, and creates eye strain. I recommend modifying the color for attributes with the class .dHI9xe to color rgb(58, 88, 119). This color was selected by using the PowerToys Color Picker and selecting the background of the chat window. This presents a scale based on known color theory, and the lighest color in this scale is the color I am recommending.

edit: changed hex values for rgb() values. Also, I attempted to look at making a custom theme one, but I think whatever controls the color of the background of the selected user is now using the wrong class selector since G Chat's last update, because that is the one color that stays static when switching different themes.

For now, I can bypass it by going into the console and manually changing that value, but it's lost on page refresh.

None of my theme works now that the url changed to mail.google.com/chat, maybe that's a Fi thing? My url auto redirects to https://mail.google.com/chat/u/0/#chat/welcome which then gets 0 theme settings due to the change of the url pattern :(
