What do you need?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- SystemC 2.1 (tested with v1)
- TLM library (tested with 1.0)
- ArchC 2.0 (tested with SVN revision 175)
- Mips cross-compiler (optional*)
* binary release included
You can get SystemC and TLM at http://www.systemc.org/ and others at
http://www.archc.org.
Running ARP
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Install SystemC, TLM and ArchC.
Note: You must compile ArchC with TLM support (--with-tlm passed to configure)
Untar ARP minimal, edit Makefile.arp and change the variables to point your
install path correctly. Download and untar an ARP example from the ArchC site.
$tar xzmf arp_minimal-beta2.tgz
$./arp --unpack dual_mips.01.arppack
$vi Makefile
PLATFORM := dual_mips.01
SYSTEMC := /home/user/systemc-2.1.v1
ARCHC_PATH := /home/user/archc
TLM_PATH := /home/user/TLM-2005-04-08/tlm
$ make run
By default, the run target will take pre compiled binaries from software folder.
To compile the binaries see documentation inside sw subdirectories.
More information can be found in doc folder. To generate the documentation, just
execute make -f Makefile.arp inside any doc folder (you will need pdflatex).
