For some reason the some tray icons are not working correctly in the light-solid/light themes.
dark-solid theme, with blur-my-shell enabled
Seems to work fine: all the tray icons in the top bar are white and legible.
But, I prefer a light theme if possible.

Two icons (solaar and "safe eyes", if that matters) are white on the blurred background.
All text are black and hard to read.

The issue here is the inverted color of those two icons.
But, I think an happy alternative for me is to somehow enable the dark theme for the top bar and light theme for all the rest (e.g. menu, dash etc) --- together with blur-my-shell that will fix all my issues.
