check all the components against a minimum viable criteria

Goal: unify the files in the components using the latest format or remove the incompatible files.

Action list:

1. find a file that has all the features that we currently consider fully working/needed. @vipulsinghal02 What file would that be?
2. Check all the components for backward compatibility, collect the ones that gave error
3. Triage the component files: passed (works with the current code base ), refactor (deemed important), delete (not worth the effort to make them compatible with the current code base )

OK, I will work on point 1 above. Will provide prototype files for

i. repressor (promoter and TF)
ii. activator (promoter and TF)
iii. combinatorial activator-repressor (pLastetO promoter, work with respective proteins)
iv. UTR
v. FP reporter
vi. constitutive expression (p70)
vii. pBAD (repressor without AraC, activator with)? @zoltuz discuss.

I will also mark out which files should copy these prototypes (eg, RFP should be identical to GFP in file structure for example).
