With groupHideEmpty the group label is still visible

The documentation states:

I'm under the impression, with groupHideEmpty set to true, that when all group options are selected, the group label disappears from the dropdown. It appears with groupHideEmpty to true the group label is still visible (without any options below).

That actually does what it says: hides the groups that don't have any items. There's currently no way of hiding a group that has all options selected.
