role="searchbox" is mentioned once in the text as an element that role="combobox" must contain or own. Further text only mentions textbox. The characteristics table below the text does not mention searchbox, only textbox.

It seems that it should either be clarified that searchbox is also an appropriate role, which sounds plausible because it is a subclass role of textbox.
Or if that is not the case, remove the mention of searchbox.

Allowed ARIA role attribute values:
textbox, searchbox with no list attribute (default - do not set) or with a list attribute: combobox (default - do not set).

This makes even more sense if one is using an autocomplete/filtered search. The definition of searchbox is a "type of textbox intended for specifying search criteria".
