DCAT2 has defined a property dcat:spatialResolutionInMeters that can be used to express (as the property name says) spatial resolution as distance in metres.

There are however other "types" of spatial resolution, which cannot be expressed with this property, so the question is whether (at least some of) these other types should be supported in DCAT.

One is the use case reported in #1263 , about the possibility of specifying spatial resolution based on, e.g., levels of administrative units (e.g., country, region, province, city).

Another one was raised in #84 - see discussion starting at #84 (comment) -, about the support for equivalent scale (e.g., 1:1,000).

Other examples includes angular distance (expressed in degrees), horizontal ground distance, and vertical distance.

This is just to note that GeoDCAT-AP 2 partially addressed this issue by defining terms for the different types of spatial resolution supported in ISO 19115 - see SEMICeu/GeoDCAT-AP#15

The use case reported in #1263 is however yet to be addressed.
