Jamepad now depends on sdl2gdx.

The downside of this is that you have to add one additional dependency to compile your project, see README.

The upside is that you can upgrade to the latest version of SDL without waiting
for a new release of Jamepad just by updating the dependency. New version of SDL has features such as working properly on Linux and supporting latest controllers.

  • Uses new rumble API and depreciates the old haptics API.
  • Based on SDL 2.0.9
  • Changes to build system.
  • Remove Mac32 and Lin32 builds.
  • Creating portable binaries for Linux is a minefield at the best of times so we need to do some testing on different Linux distros to make sure they work.

This is mostly just pulling in updates from SDL and the controller mapping DB.

Additional Xbox One controller variants now work on windows. The Xbox One wireless adapter is tested and working. Xbox One S Bluetooth controllers should be supported as well, but this is currently untested.

This is the initial release of Jamepad.

Things pretty should work pretty well. Vibration might be iffy on some controller/platforms.
