Below are several ideas to improve the Media Manager:
See all unused Media files, so that they can be removed for space-saving purposes because people keep adding images and replacing them, but never cleaning them up.
Softdelete Media files (trash can) so they can be restored through a visual interface. The trash can can also be emptied.
I see this as a new menu item in the Media Manager 'Trash', which is basically the same list as the actual Media Manager but with checkboxes to select and permanently delete the files within the trash and a button to empty the entire trash list in one go. Using a trash can can help restore removed images that are still used within the website quickly
I have asked this in Discord and '1' seems to be impossible for the MediaManager because it does not have a central table with the required information.
'2' Already has an existing PR which can support a trash
