Are you struggling with a large, complicated data analysis project in R? At the Chicago R Unconference, I can personally help you turn it into a drake-powered workflow. In exchange, the code will join this repository of examples, where it will help motivate the problem drake is trying to solve.

The project must be

  1. Okay to release under an open-source license.
  2. Mostly in R.

and should ideally be

  1. Relevant to your daily work. (This Unconference idea is supposed to make your life easier.)
  2. Too cumbersome for the traditional script-based approach.
  3. Too time-consuming to run from scratch all the time.

Edit

Even if nobody has a serious research project already in hand, I think this idea could still work out. We can brainstorm ideas for examples and work on #11.
