I tried wolf-shaper-1.0.0 in QTractor.
The window is created too large. Bottom 10% of it is clipped.
The window can't be resized using a mouse.
It shows the "resize" cursor but the window doesn't resize.

FreeBSD 13.1

Do these problems occur with all plugin formats?

The window is created too large. Bottom 10% of it is clipped.

OK, I'll see if I can reproduce this issue. On my system, the window does not appear to be clipped. It might be related to DPI scaling.

The window can't be resized using a mouse.
It shows the "resize" cursor but the window doesn't resize.

I can reproduce the issue when using the VST3 build of the plugin.

As a workaround, I think I can set the interface as "user resizable". This has been implemented in 4c8edd5. Does this commit help with the issues?

A standalone Jack application shows a smaller window that fits the screen, but it also can't be resized.

The VST version of the plugin malfunctions in QTractor: it shows a large window, but most of it is empty, and the actual wolf-plugin is displayed in the top-left corner.

Just to be sure, have you managed to reproduce the issue with the latest commit on the master branch? I pushed a potential fix about two hours ago: 4c8edd5

VST2, or VST3? (or both?)

Also, which window manager do you use? Is it xfce4?

I use VST2. (VST3 fails to build, see the other Issue.)
I use xfce4.

The latest revision still has the size problem.
The window is resizable now, but the minimal size is too large. The height is larger than my screen height, which also happens to be very large.
