Hi,

We got the following requirements from one of our clients.

  1. Provide tools for automated or manual information checking for compliance with MVDs and other defined data templates
  2. Support object-level versioning
  3. Support designation and visualization of object status (pending, current, archive)
  4. Accurately import and export models by MVD or other defined data templates.

Do you have support for these features?

Thanks in advance
Manikandan V

We do have 1.
I don't understand what you mean with 2 and 3 and their relation with mvdxml.
4 is also difficult to scope, what's that "other" data templates?

Sorry, I thought 2 and 3 relates to MVD. Actually I'm new to this area and I got a task to filter the items we can implement using xbim libs. Is there any documentation related to the 1st one? And do you have any idea about the object level versioning and object status?

Hi xbim team,

Do you have any documentation about the MVD support of xbim libraries?

Not really.
For the time being mvxXML is pretty much experimental.
If you notice the versioning number, it's preliminary.
But the tech is solid, if you want to use it.
What purposes would you need it for?
Perhaps it's worth opening a new issue?
