Got a SIGSEGV while executing native code. This usually indicates a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries used by your application. #3257

Please, somebody can help me with this. I don't know what I have to do! |
Do you have a test project you can share that reproduces the crash? |
Also, does it only crash on device, or in the simulator as well? |
@timrisi I don't have a test project, and I can't share my source code for privacy reasons. The crash only happens when deploying on the device (iPad Air 2, iOS 11.2.2), but builds with no problems. |
The broader developer community would be the best and quickest place for additional troubleshooting help on this issue. [0] https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/xamarin If you believe this is a bug in the Xamarin project as opposed to something in the specific project, we need a test case to be able to be able to reproduce the issue. In case it might also be a helpful reference, you can find some general recommendations on the best places to ask various kinds of questions about Xamarin on: https://developer.xamarin.com/guides/cross-platform/troubleshooting/support-options/ |
There's sadly nothing actionable in the bug report. Please try to either a. best - reduce your application (removing code) as much as possible while being able to reproduce the crash. When it cannot be reduced anymore share this code with us (it can be done thru bugzilla, or another mechanism, to ensure it remains private); b. Attach the symbolicated crash report (from the device) to this issue. This might give us some clues - depending on the type of crash. Also the device logs might contain additional details (attach it as well) |
Thanks a lot for your help. I've been just update my testing device (iPad Air 2)to the new 11.2.5 iOS version and the App it's running again. |
Steps to Reproduce
Expected Behavior
I expect that my app runs without errors or other kind of exception.
