Hi, potplayer said to me it fixed the problem (reated to preview and custom url in chromium 131) and today, the new stable version of potplayer is released, preview with potplayer works in Supermium chromium 126 but it it worked one time in catsxp browser based on chromium 131 then it doesn't work any more with other second vidmoly video:

in recent issue in Open-in-Vlc extension page github about preview problem with VLC, Mr Andy the developer of Open-in-Vlc explained to me when a member of VLC (apparently moderator) told me the problem (of preview ) comes from extensions like Cat catch and Open in Vlc :

" You can get a non-functional M3U8 link from this extension (or any other extensions) and then use VLC Player's "Open Network Stream" feature to load the M3U8. If it doesn't work, the problem lies with VLC; if it does work, then the issue is with the extension."

i have manually copy paste the m3u8 link given by Cat-Catch in potplayer: the first time i can preview, but the second time there is no playback at all, it's strange, do streaming sites have a defense mechanism against preview with local media player? this is strange

it seems i didn't well understand, if there is no playback so the preblem related to media player, but the question why first time i can playback, then second time i can't, I change the title of the issue
