XMTP Improvement Proposals are design documents that:
- Detail new features for XMTP
- Process or environment changes for XMTP
- Provide information to the XMTP community
They:
- Specify implementation details
- Seek to establish consensus among the community
- Provide structure for the continued development of XMTP
The goal of the XIP project is to document standardized protocols for XMTP clients and applications and to document them in a high quality and implementable way.
