Update LibreOffice icons #9
Comments
Thanks for the tip. |
Hey all! I came across this issue by doing a GitHub-wide search. I am a member of LibreOffice’s Design team, and it appears that this project supplants LibreOffice’s brand identity with Microsoft’s. At LibreOffice, we encourage designers to take their own spin on our icons (please do theme our app!), but I don’t think it’s nice to make users believe they are running an entirely different software than ours by taking their icons verbatim. It frustrates them, hurts their expectations and misleads them, which hurts our project. Please consider redesigning the icons based on our own brand. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:NewAppMimeIcons.png |
You are right, the next update to adjust.
