Hi, Is there any possibility of adding a choice of save location for this extension? Love the simplicity of it.

@jimocallaghan What means the "location"? Is it Geolocation?

Hi, by location I mean save location for file on disk (directory path). To avoid changing existing menus / autosave feature on new mindmap, a new separate config option to specify a folder where all mind maps are saved by default.

Hi I think you have solved my query of being able to save maps and open them on other PCs with the addition of the Firebase DB feature. What level of privacy / sharing is there on the DB? And is there a size / number of maps limit? Thanks.

Feature Request - Sync Mind Maps Across Machines

As a user, I'd like to be able to work on the same mind maps in MindMap Tab on different machines so I can work on the same idea on a laptop in a coffee shop or a desktop computer at home.

Implementation Options

Sync could be implemented as saving existing data in 'History' to

  1. Google Drive
  2. Bookmarks, let Chrome sync bookmarks
  3. Cloud, i.e., Google CloudStore
  4. Local file system, let Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive handle syncing

Thanks

Thanks for creating this excellent extension. I love it!
