Probably because django 1.7 officially no longer has security updates, and because it's really complicated for an maintainer of open source project to support legacy software and because the maintainer probably has limited time to work for free. (open-source != free software)
To my understanding, I believe that the maintainer would be happy to return support for legacy software (if there is no technical incompatibility for this) if that work is sufficiently funded.
you can still make a fork and keep your own fork with whatever modifications you find necessary.
Hi,
If I understand correctly, django-session-security is not compatible with Django 1.7? There's probably a (good) reason for that?
I would have liked to use it on a "big" project on Django 1.7...
Thanks for your reply.
