Create a new pane without borders

I really hate the clutter of having borders and titles to my panes.
when i define a layout i can remove the border from the first pane that is loaded, but when I then create a new pane next to that one (using the TMUX menu for example), then that new pane will have a border.

How do i create new panes while in runtime without adding borders to them?

It seems the problem is related to the zjstatus plugin. when i load the zjstatus plugin the pane_frames option is compeltely ignored:

also Ctrl+p, then z has no effect when having zjstatus active. it is doing things when i remove zjstatus from my layout.

The fix seems to be to remove hide_frame_for_single_pane "true" from the zjstatus config. when removed zjstatus doesn't interfere with frame settings. if it is there it will override the pane frame settings.
