Zellij configuration for macOS, primary and secondary modifiers

The question may be a bit broad but I have some difficulties to configure it on macOS
Maybe it is not 100% related to zellij at all.

I am trying to configure my Mac as close as possible to my linux machine

I use wezterm/fish/zellij and aeroSpace as a window manager that uses alt as a mod key(so basically it is occupied).
As I understand in Mac terminals it is pain to use Command, and they generally expect you to use Control key.

I can't figure out how to use Command as primary zellij key. I also can't make secondary key to be a combination of alt+shift for example. It just doesnt register keypresses.

So far the only success I had is to use alt and control keys as two zellij modifiers. But alt is already heavily used by window manager, so I need to find extra option

few questions

1. Is it possible to use Command key as a lock key in zellij on macOS
2. Is it possible to use Control+Shift as secondary? for some reason it just doesn't register

Maybe I should use different terminal emulator to achieve this?
Would be glad for any help and pointers.

Maybe someone can share working zellij config for Mac?
