Sumz provides users with a tool to streamline their reading by condensing lengthy articles into easily digestible summaries. Leveraging React, Redux Toolkit, and the Rapid API, this project offers a user-friendly interface for summarization and translation.
Throughout the development of Sumz, I gained invaluable experience in setting up a Redux Toolkit store and solidified my knowledge of React. This project served as an opportunity to deepen my understanding of these technologies while delivering a practical and useful tool for users. Additionally, I utilized Rapid API for the first time in an open-source project, broadening my skill set and exploring new avenues for integration. Furthermore, I honed my skills in Tailwind CSS, progressively styling and refining the user interface to enhance the overall user experience.
To get started with Sumz, simply navigate to the web page and enter the URL of the article you wish to summarize. Choose your preferred language for the summary, and Sumz will provide you with a condensed version of the article, ready for easy reading.
Sumz is an open-source project, and contributions are welcome. Feel free to submit pull requests, report issues, or suggest enhancements to help improve the functionality and usability of the tool.
