A Warhammer 40,000 living database and roster builder.
Not tested, so let me know if I missed something.
A web server, php 7.x, a database. See: https://laravel.com/docs/5.6/installation
git clone git@github.com:AppSynergy/killteams.com.git
cd killteams.com
composer install
npm install
Create a .env
file and add your database info. Ensure the APP_URL
is correct.
Then set up the application key, create the database, and deploy the faction data:
php artisan key_generate
php artisan migrate --seed
php artisan factions:deploy
Now you should be able to visit:
/admin
for the back-end (no authorization yet, use any user from the seed),/api/factions
for the data api,/builder
for where the front-end roster builder will go.
Laravel is a web application framework with expressive, elegant syntax. We believe development must be an enjoyable and creative experience to be truly fulfilling. Laravel attempts to take the pain out of development by easing common tasks used in the majority of web projects, such as:
- Simple, fast routing engine.
- Powerful dependency injection container.
- Multiple back-ends for session and cache storage.
- Expressive, intuitive database ORM.
- Database agnostic schema migrations.
- Robust background job processing.
- Real-time event broadcasting.
Laravel is accessible, yet powerful, providing tools needed for large, robust applications.
Laravel has the most extensive and thorough documentation and video tutorial library of any modern web application framework, making it a breeze to get started learning the framework.
If you're not in the mood to read, Laracasts contains over 1100 video tutorials on a range of topics including Laravel, modern PHP, unit testing, JavaScript, and more. Boost the skill level of yourself and your entire team by digging into our comprehensive video library.
