I have added a simple test code to check the gimbal movements. This has been tested on Gazebo Simulator using IRIS Drone with a Gimbal. The two commands - "followme" and "followme2" moves the gimbal camera to different directions.
@rmackay9 we could use this as a starting point for the Project. I am planning to simulate a moving person on Gazebo Environment and add the object detection Yolo Code to track it and move accordingly.
Having done that we could add a LIDAR to the Gazebo Sim to detect distance from the drone and accordingly send the movement commands to the drone.
Basically most of these would be minor sample codes to check the viability of the approach and thereby I'll add them to my project proposal.
