We can do this for now to unblock pipelines, however we should carefully review this native dependency. Some of our customers refuse or are unable to use packages with native dependencies, as documented in #13950. @sadasant: Are we planning to minimize the scope of this native dependency so customers can avoid installing it unless they require its functionality? |
