computeContentAssist() with preceding input

I have a grammar that allow for expressions such as this:

1 + 2 > 3 + [some.variable]

Having parsed 1 + 2 > 3, I called computeContentAssist() with:

computeAssist(
   " + ",
   tokens // the five tokens '1', '+', '2', '>' and '3'
)

...fully expecting it to include [ as a possible next token. It does not. Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding?

The other suggestions are correct, but some possibilities are missing.

The content assist will provide you will all tokens that might appear after the last given token. Since your input allows 1 + 2 > 3 + [some.variable], the content assist should provide you with + after 1 + 2 > 3. Not returning [ seems to be the expected behavior. Also is " + " actually a rule name of your grammar?

Ah damn, I got confused. I was wrapping the call, forgetting that the first parameter is a rule name. I had had it working at the root of the grammar and am now interested in getting content assist in subrules.

I'll need to remember the context.
